I've worked myself into a decaf kick-just black tea-but to be honest the past week or so I've been substituting my first cup in the morning with a regular teabag. I'm upping my intake of water these days, but that habit tends to ebb and wane with my intake of caffeine. I do have sleep apnea and have tried/failed with C-PAP. I'm experimenting with taking a Molybdenum supplement because I read that it can aid with sleep and sensitivity to sulfites.

I know sleep is crucial for good skin but I average about 3 hours/night-5 if I'm lucky. Overall, I'm just sooo confused as to what to use-retinol? hyaluronic acid? collagen? I've thought of switching to Neutrogena but to be honest it's because I'm getting sucked into their advertising campaign. I've thought of using other brands, but from the research I've done Olay seems to be the best in my price range. If I put anything on my face it's Olay's Regenerist serum, but there are many options under that line so it's hard to figure out which one would be the best suited for me. When I first moved to FL I went Ulta Beauty and was recommended their brand of tinted moisturize which I found to be just as heavy as regular makeup. This coupled with the fact that I haven't had my hair cut/colored since January (due to the COVID-19 lockdown) has me looking pretty haggard. The down side is that now the dark circles/bags under my eyes are fully exposed. I recently had cataract + lasix eye surgery done so I no longer need glasses for distance. Still, I'm not liking what I'm seeing in the mirror-more and more I'm looking like 'my dad in drag' which is a pretty frightening sight. I've stopped wearing make-up entirely after I retired, mostly because it's just too dang hot here but also because I've gotten a tad lazy.

Since I practically have no social life to speak of, it doesn't make any sense to get all gussied up just to go shopping and such. I'm 68 years old (soon to be 69) and this year age is really catching up on me. I see her ads plastered all over the internet so I assumed she was still alive and kicking. I was shocked to discover that Cindy Joseph passed away in 2018 of soft tissue sarcoma. Has anyone tried BOOM Cosmetics? Were/are you happy with the results? I'm looking for makeup that's quick and uncomplicated, and her line of products are tempting.
